In the clinical trial, 49 healthy women were grouped in two. The subjects in one group were made to drink at least 5.2 liters of water a day while the other group only drank less than 3.2 liters of water daily. After observing and testing the subject’s skin hydration for a month, the researchers concluded that consuming a high volume of water daily significantly increases the hydration level of the skin.
